Protection. Education. Connection. There's an app for that at ascpskincare.com/app 37 FOLLOW THE LEADERS ASCP Skin Deep special advertising section What makes DMK a leader in professional skin care? DMK's unique concept of RRPM (remove, rebuild, protect, and maintain) is the basis of our treatments and how we approach all skin concerns, from acne to pigmentation to signs of aging. Our philosophy includes a "paramedical" approach, which is esthetics care that adheres closely to medical practices and scientifi c evidence. This is backed by our masterful formulations; DMK products typically have the most eff ective ratio of biologically active to base ingredients, meaning the ingredients are presented to the skin in a form the body can recognize and accept and are present in amounts that catalyze change on the cellular level. In contrast, most over-the-counter cosmetic products have a low active-to-base ratio. DMK is dedicated to constant improvement and especially committed to educating our estheticians. Education is the cornerstone of DMK! We don't simply teach estheticians how to use our tools—we invite them to recognize what is going on beneath the skin on a biological and cellular level for the best client care possible. Our online and in- person class modules are unmatched, taught by longtime estheticians and skin science professionals. In our educational modules, we also include business best practices to help attract and retain clients, DMK build client trust, advertise esthetics services, and use our brand to uplift DMK clinics. We deeply value community and frequently host events that allow our estheticians to create lifelong connections. How can ASCP members become DMK-certifi ed? ASCP members interested in becoming DMK-certifi ed must have one of the following licenses: • Doctor of medicine (MD) • Licensed cosmetologist (LC) • Licensed esthetician (LE) • Nurse practitioner (NP) • Physician assistant (PA) • Registered nurse (RN) The next step to certifi cation is completing the DMK Fundamentals Course, which gives estheticians who are new to DMK access to some of our core backbar and Home Prescriptive products. To access most of these products, DMK estheticians must sign up for and complete Program One; for advanced products, they must sign up for and complete DMK MD. Which DMK protocols and/or treatments do you recommend for estheticians who are getting started with DMK? Estheticians who have completed the DMK Fundamentals Program can order one of three DMK Fundamentals Kits, which address acne, pigmentation, and age management. Each kit contains a professional Enzyme Masque #1, the heart of DMK's treatment concept, and 30 days of home care to support treatment results long-term. The Acu System Fundamentals Kit is ideal for acne grades III and IV; the Pigment Balancing Fundamentals Kit is good for younger, oily, darker skin, or Sponsored by: those with the occasional breakout; and the Age Management Fundamentals Kit is best for mature skin, lipid-dry, fragile skin, and capillary concerns— and is suitable for youthful clients wanting to maintain healthy skin. Enzyme Masque #1 triggers specialized transfer messenger enzymes in the body that improve skin function and strengthen the underlying skin structures. It exfoliates by turning dead cells into a weak acid and fl ushing them from the skin and it encourages reverse osmosis, which clears cellular waste and debris using blood and lymph circulation. It also improves oxygenation, cell metabolism, and immune function; scavenges free radicals; and reduces oxidative stress. What does DMK have planned on the horizon? We have exciting plans for 2026 and will likely delve into some of the impressive heritage of DMK. For example, we want to explore the genesis of Enzyme Masque #1, the fi rst of its kind, which is nearing its 50 th anniversary—we can't wait to share more about its origins and success over the years.
