CLIENTS OFTEN LOOK TO THEIR esthetician
for guidance about changes in their skin. It's
something we encounter every day. During routine
analysis with a magnifying lamp, we can see acne,
hyperpigmentation, skin aging, and sun damage, and
we can help improve all these conditions.
But we also see marks, lesions, growths, and other
conditions that may concern clients. It's important for
estheticians to recognize these conditions that may
need medical referral.

with your clients. Here's what to take note of,
which conditions can benefit from the care of an
esthetician, and which conditions must be referred to
a dermatologist.
