"Shelley's Show & Tell" is on the air! I'm a radio show host now on Voice America's health and wellness channel. Can you believe it? It's so cool! I received a phone call a few months ago from an executive producer at Voice America asking me if I'd be interested in be a talk show host. What? Me? My first question to him was "How did you find me," and my second question was "Why me?" He told me that he has a team of people that comb the Internet looking at Youtube videos for people with personality and then they check their websites looking for variety. Someone who seems to have their hands in a few different subjects. They can't be pigeon-holed into one thing. Boy, that's me alright! His people brought me to his attention and he liked what he saw! Wow, that made my day. So after a series of interviews, they ask me to come aboard. Each Monday at 1pm Pacific time, I'll be chatting for a whole hour about anything and everything in our industry as well as sharing my passion for living my life focusing on the positive instead of dwelling on the stuff that's not so good. I'll have guest speakers from the beauty and health industries, and successful business owners sharing how they created those successful businesses. I'll share things I've learned along the way of being an esthetician for 28 years and a skin care center owner for 27 years. The public will be listening to my show as well as estheticians. So, I've created a new website with a referral program on it.
