Education classes with Dr. Pugliese from Circadia Professional Skincare are some of the most memorable. This high level of education continues now with his grandson Michael Pugliese and the other instructors at Circadia. My business is more credible and professional. Cynthia Kretschmar via Twitter Oncology esthetics training by Becky Kuehn/ Oncology Spa Solutions was the best education I have had. Not only is this education vital to be able to safely assist the client journeying through cancer and thereafter, but the knowledge learned is very beneficial in a variety of ways for the noncancer client as well. It made me a better esthetician and has truly made a significant impact in my life and my passion for skin care. Lori Murtagh via Instagram Answer our next question: What is your cancellation policy? How do you enforce it? Email your answer to editor@ascpskincare.com. Your answer could appear in the November/ December 2019 issue and may be edited for length and clarity. Dermaplaning and Rezenerate. Both instantly give amazing results with no redness or downtime. Jean Tremblay via Facebook Oncology esthetics. I love being able to pamper a client who otherwise wouldn't have been able to experience it due to cancer treatment. I love seeing them relax and possibly forget for just a little while. It makes my heart feel good! Bethany Bentjen Boyd via Facebook Pamela Springer has an amazing class on ethnic skin tone. My most recent was with Cheryl Miller and the Zen Facelift Facial. Both have taught me how to improve my techniques and to understand skin! Porscha Barclay via Instagram My favorite postgraduate education courses have all been at the International Dermal Institute (IDI) and Dermalogica, in Carson, California. IDI courses really focus on skin histology, and help me understand why certain ingredients work best with specific skin disorders. Both IDI and Dermalogica have helped me become a "thinking therapist." Depending on my clients' concerns, I'm always thinking of what I'm going to do and what products I will use to give them their desired results. Every product, modality, and technique has a purpose. I do not give the same treatment twice, and that sets my business apart. Paola Campos via Instagram
