If you're already sugaring, then you
know it requires some time and a healthy
sense of motivation to master this sticky
art. To become highly proficient in
intimate sugaring, you're going to need
practice and persistence along with great
instruction. I am thrilled to have the
opportunity to share some pointers with
those of you who are already sugaring,
as well as to explain how sugaring works
to those who are new to it. Rest assured,
if you understand what you're doing and
why you're doing it, you'll become a whiz
at Brazilians with some practice. Let's
start with an explanation of how sugaring
works and what makes it unique.
WHAT IS SUGARING?
Sugaring is an all-natural method of hair
removal that uses a paste based on three
basic ingredients: sugar, water, and citric
acid. The paste is applied to the skin by hand,
against the direction of hair growth, in an
action called molding. Molding has three
intentions that are slightly different than
the intentions of applying wax. This is where
new practitioners often struggle in making
the transition from waxing to sugaring.
In my 10 years of experience as a trainer,
I believe this is one of the most important
factors to know and understand about
sugaring. Before I get too far ahead, though,
let's touch on some of the benefits of this all-
natural treatment for the intimate area.
You can assure
your clients their
skin will be in
great condition
when they leave
the treatment
room.
