Step 1: Apply a mild cleansing cream that contains seaweed and coconut oil extracts into your palm and warm between both hands. Apply to client's face and neck using circular motions. Step 2: Thoroughly remove cleanser with cotton saturated in lukewarm water; pat dry with tissues. Step 3: Put a soothing massage cream containing extracts of seaweed, coconut oil, aloe, and chamomile into your palm and warm between both hands. Apply warmed cream to client's cheeks, forehead, and neck using the massage techniques below. Massage for 5–10 minutes. A. Effl eurage: Starting at the neck, apply cream upward all over the face using light, gliding movements. B. Tapotemen t: Begin lightly tapping the face, following the diagram below, to improve circulation. C. Resume effl eurage movements, gliding hands up and down the sides of the face. D. Following the diagram below, perform shiatsu pressure points on key areas of the face. E. Perform effl eurage again, ending at the temples, holding for a few moments.
