Wow, what a conference!
In August, I departed for the land of wine and
sunshine to attend my first Face & Body Spa
Conference & Expo in San Jose.
There were a few other firsts for the ASCP team at this
premier event: we had a spacious, luxurious booth where
attendees could sit down, relax, and charge their phones
(which we also had at Face & Body Southeast in October and
will have again at Face & Body Midwest in January), and
we presented awards to our Readers' Choice winners. The
presentation was so much fun; many of our winners were at
the show and were kind enough to leave their busy booths
to accept their awards and have their pictures taken, and we
loved having our CEO Bob Benson join us.
Here are a few images from our little gathering (to see all
the pictures, check out the slideshow in our digital edition). It
was great to not only spend time with so many industry icons,
but to also roam the exhibit floor, learn exciting techniques,
and discover new products and devices. The innovative spirit
of this industry continues to amaze me.
The ASCP team is so grateful to everyone involved: the
exhibitors and attendees who took the time to stop by and
say hello, the incredible Face & Body staff who worked hard
to keep everything running like a dream, and of course, our
members, who inspire us daily.
