Our Top 8 Trend Predictions for 2017
Forward Thinking
he difference between a fad
and a trend is simple: a fad
fades quickly, while a trend can
last for years, or even decades. In skin
care, we've seen fads come and go—beer
bath, fish pedicures, snail facials, snake
massage, and vampire (blood) facials. These
fads do not last, especially when they challenge
state legislation and Occupational Safety and Health
Administration (OSHA) laws. General trends, however,
hang around and influence the market. Know the
trends and you'll know what to expect for at least
the next year and beyond. Understanding this,
there are eight top trends that have developed
within the last few years that will dictate
much of what we will continue to do
in our treatment rooms and for our
customers for years to come.
