Online Job Shopping
One of the best ways to gather information about who is hiring, and exactly
what spas and salons are looking for, is to surf online job sites. Look for jobs in
your local area or state (or a state or country in which you'd like to live) to gain
valuable information before the interview.
Don't be afraid of blind job ads where the employer is not revealed. This is
a discreet way for companies to "fish the waters" and see who may submit
a resume. Many firms, both large and small, use this strategy. Already know
where you want to work? Go directly to that site and find the "careers" or
"jobs" link (hint: it's usually at the bottom of the home page).
