These stores are designed to simply move product for customers in a hurry. Some spas have already jumped on this trend by creating a consultation counter with a full-time attendant who can offer product advice, move inventory, and help fi ll the schedule book. Or, if you share a location with other independent professionals, perhaps your schedules would allow taking turns to fi ll this role. A high-top table in your retail area may be all you need. Look Around for More There are no limits to what you can offer, or where you might fi nd your next great idea. Take a look around. Look at what the corner bakery is doing to sell its croissants and muffi ns. Pay attention to any business that is getting a lot of press or interest in your community. What are they doing that you're not? How can you use that idea? Don't be afraid to borrow inspiration to come up with something that will work for you.
