20 YEARS OF SKIN HEALTH WITH SAIAN SKINCARE ASCP SKIN DEEP PROFESSIONAL SPOTLIGHT Saian was founded by you and your mother. How did your shared vision as generational estheticians shape the DNA of the brand? Saian is really a love letter to my mother. She has been the greatest influence in my life, both personally and professionally. She taught me that success starts with kindness, integrity, and treating every person with respect. Those values became the foundation of our brand. As generational estheticians, our goal was never just to sell productsit was to help estheticians thrive. That's why we don't impose minimum orders, we design simple, results-driven protocols with handheld modalities, and we intentionally keep our SKU assortment focused and purposeful. We want estheticians to feel confident, not overwhelmed. After 20 years, what values have never changed for Saian, and why are they still important to estheticians today? Helping others succeed has always guided every decision I make as CEO. That philosophy comes from my mother, who taught me that our role as estheticians is to lift others up. Beyond products, I stay deeply involved in advancing our professionwriting for ASCP Skin Deep magazine, serving on the editorial board of Dermascope, and participating in industry conversations about education standards, ethics, and sustainable practices. I believe that when we share knowledge openly, the entire esthetician community becomes stronger. It's equally important to me to stand behind everything we offer. I only believe in products and devices that I would use in my own treatment room. In celebration of Saian Skincare's 20th anniversary, we sat down with co-founder and CEO Dasha Saian Marchese to reflect on the brand's mission, its generational roots in the treatment room, and the values that continue to guide Saian's esthetician-first philosophy. When estheticians trust what they're using, they gain confidenceand that confidence translates into better results and stronger businesses. How do you hope Saian empowers the next generation of estheticians•especially women building a business while raising a family? As a mom of two little ones, aged two and four, I want my children to see their mother working hard, evolving at her craft, giving back, and helping her community. I hope Saian shows the next generation of estheticians, especially women who are raising children while working, that they can create fulfilling, financially sustainable careers in this profession. Through education and accessible programs like no minimum orders, we try to give estheticians the confidence to believe in themselves and build strong businesses doing what they love. As Saian celebrates its 20th anniversary, what excites you most about the next decade? After 20 years, I feel like we're coming full circle. My mother taught me the art of facial massage, and now, in a world filled with screens and automation, clients are rediscovering how powerful that human touch really is. I'm excited to see estheticians rediscover craftsmanshipmanual lifting, sculpting, lymphatic work, thoughtful protocols, and build thriving businesses around those skills. Because at the end of the day, people don't just come for a product they come for connection and expertise. https://pro.saian.net/ If even one esthetician has grown because of us, we've done our job.
