We will be seeing an emergence of user-friendly technology empowering skin care pros to bring a new level of hyper-personalization to their treatments, blending innovation with expertise to provide clients with a unique experience. In my experience, personalization in skin care goes beyond technology. Unique sensory experiences can enhance treatment sessions, from using customized aromatherapy scents based on client preferences to offering a variety of teas for the client to relax with after a facial. Customizing treatments has been my ideology for the past 18 years as a licensed esthetician. I believe in creating a custom treatment for every client based on their skin condition instead of working according to a set menu. On some days, we may incorporate a manual massage; on other days, we may forgo the massage and add a microcurrent treatment instead. Additionally, understanding a client's lifestyle—whether they work outdoors or in stressful environments—allows estheticians to create routines that are truly aligned with each client's needs. For skin care professionals, the benefits of hyper-personalization are immense. By enhancing client satisfaction through custom services, professionals can foster loyalty, since clients who feel cared for are more likely to return and refer friends. Hyper-personalized treatments are perceived as highly valuable, allowing professionals to charge premium prices. Personalized recommendations, whether AI-driven or based on the esthetician's expertise, can also drive retail sales, as clients feel more confident about purchasing home-care products that will maintain and enhance their treatments. It's clear to see why hyper-personalization offers skin care professionals a way to stand out in a competitive market, establishing a unique approach to client care. A FUTURE BLENDING TECH AND TOUCH The future of hyper-personalized skin care appears to be a harmonious blend of technology and human touch.
