As you move the scope around, you will find your ideal angle and you can click to take five photos. Those five images will live forever on the URL with the analysis, so you can go back and see them again. Once the analysis is over, you get a report that you can save or share with your clients for both of you to use. After the scan with the Muilli Skin Dermascope, you are directed to our website, where you have the formula and you will see the products recommended by the AI. There are three products that our robots currently make, all in 30 mL size— the lotion, essence serum, and ampoule. The skin care professional sends the link to the client, and all they have to do is check out and pay within 30 days. The esthetician gets a commission from the sale, and after our robot makes the products, we pack and drop-ship them directly to the client. DSM: How well does the technology work for different skin tones, ages, and types? Are there any special algorithms that ensure inclusivity in analysis? VN: Yes, all the results are gender and race-inclusive, and so are the formulations because that's how the algorithm works. We have about 120 ingredients right now, and we're working on adding more. DSM: I also understand that your company is sustainable. VN: Yes, because the way we manufacture reduces our carbon footprint. When we're not making an order, there is nothing wasted. We don't have samples; every product is made to order. We are reducing the amount of packaging that is put out into the world, and we don't follow a traditional model where the product goes from the warehouse to the shelves to the consumer. We also use PET curbside recyclable plastic. I like to say we're not making pretty bottles—we're making better skin care.
