ASCP SkinPro got a glow-up! Check out new app content at ascpskincare.com/skinpro 77 suits them best, unless consulted by an esthetician before purchasing. My advice is to set up a consultation, perhaps a virtual one (see page 40), when you see new customers purchasing professional products from your site. They will be pleasantly surprised to discover you are glad to direct them to the best and correct products for their skin. The Gen Alpha home care protocol shouldn't be overly complicated or include too many products, but it should have a basic cleanser, nighttime spot treatment for stubborn breakouts, noncomedogenic moisturizer, and sunscreen. If you retail makeup, such as foundation, offer a makeup consultation to teens to help them select the cleanest and most appropriate coverage that will not interfere with their skin treatments. EMPOWER YOUNG CLIENTS As the skin care industry continues to evolve and cater to the ever-changing needs and preferences of younger generations, it is essential for estheticians to strike a balance between addressing a client's desires for trending treatments and products while prioritizing the long-term health and integrity of the client's skin. By providing tailored guidance, education, and personalized skin care solutions, estheticians can empower their young clients to cultivate healthy skin care habits that promote healthy skin for years to come.
