However, it can be up to 25 times more expensive to acquire a new client than retain a current one. 1 Client retention not only boosts loyalty but will also bring in more clients in the long run. Here are 10 strategies to keep clients coming back. Focus Inward. Focus on your current clients by keeping them on their toes. Introduce new products and services like seasonal off erings that complement the existing services they already know and love. Rebook. Be sure to let your clients know during checkout how often you would like for them to return for optimal results and maintenance. After you set that expectation, schedule their next appointment on the calendar before they leave. If they don't want to book right away, send them a reminder text a few days after their service so they remember to rebook. Lead with Great Customer Service. Great customer service should be a part of the client's experience from the moment you answer the phone to when you start their appointment on time and take their payment at the end. Put them fi rst every step of the way: during the booking process, reception, intake, treatment, and aftercare. These small touches will leave your client confi dent they want to return. Follow Up. Following up with clients after a service shows you care about your work and about them as a customer. Your follow-up process can include an email, text, or a quick phone call a week after their service. Following up after their service also serves as an opportunity to ask for reviews and referrals.
