But a study by Invisibly found the majority of the 1,087 people surveyed—62 percent—have never tried a CBD product. Furthermore, 58 percent of respondents did not know the difference between CBD- and THC-containing products, and 53 percent said they would not consider using a CBD product for any reason. It seems that sunscreen has a little PR problem. The Derm Review published a survey on consumer usage of sunscreen, surveying 1,000 Americans (49 percent male and 51 percent female). The results were disturbing—especially for those of us who care deeply about healthy skin. Of those surveyed, 62 percent of males and 50 percent of females reported rarely or never wearing sunscreen. What? Yikes! Unsurprisingly, the low numbers of those wearing sunscreen correlates with the 44 percent increase of newly diagnosed melanoma cases throughout the past decade.
