AMP UP YOUR ATTITUDE
Right now, a dose of realism is needed, and
managing your expectations as you return
to business will help convey a message of
recovery and gratitude. This crisis has been
difficult for everyone, but keeping a positive
attitude sprinkled with realism will help. Take
the time to review your average number of
appointments, retail sales, and gift cards prior
to closing. Develop scenarios for your business
at 40–50 percent of average sales; remember,
it will take time to return to past performance.
If you manage your expectations, you will
avoid disappointment and prevent sharing
negative vibes with past and future guests.
STAY IN CONTACT WITH CLIENTS
Now is the time to keep your marketing and
branding efforts moving forward. Through
social media, email, and even a blog, you can
maintain a buzz and create the right kind
of anticipation and excitement that leads to
clients booking a future appointment. The
phrase "always be marketing" (ABM) is your
new mantra leading up to your relaunch.
