ascp skin deep COVID-19 special issue 2020 LETTER FROM THE ASCP EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Reflect and Perfect After speaking to many of our loyal ASCP members, along with the urging of numerous local and state governments, we strongly suggested you close your doors in order to protect the community you serve. There is no way you can safely treat clients in person in today's environment, especially with a large proportion of COVID-19 carriers being asymptomatic. But, while we have suggested you close your doors to face-to-face services and interactions, we are not suggesting you close your business altogether. At this time, we encourage you to reflect and perfect your business. Use this break from seeing clients (in person) to take a 360-degree view of your current business. Are there services you are not offering that you should? Will these services require additional education or equipment? Is your website as pristine and up to date as it should be? Are you using a scheduling system that helps market to your clients or compiles information on their behaviors? When is the last time you reviewed it or looked at Google Analytics for your business? In an effort to help resurrect your thriving business—once life returns to a more normal mode of operation—we've put together some resources and tools for you.
