members, and I'm excited
to share just a few new
resources you'll see soon,
and throughout 2019.
By now you've received our
new digital publication, Fine Lines.
This consumer publication is for
you to share with your clients and
prospective clients, reminding
them of all the reasons they need
to see you on a regular basis. Filled
with easy-to-read tips and advice
about proper, long-term skin care,
Fine Lines will help you educate
consumers on the importance of
professional skin care. We will produce four issues a year, and
we hope it will provide you with another meaningful way to
keep in touch with the people you serve.
Our March/April 2019 issue of ASCP Skin Deep will feature
our inaugural Esty of the Year. Open only to ASCP members
and chosen from a plethora of nominations, our recipients
represent all the hardworking skin professionals who spend
each day helping people look and feel their best.
And the ASCP team will continue to produce amazing
education and opportunities to help you shine in the
profession. We offer several ways for our members to engage
with us, including our member profile, the Esty Talk column,
our annual Readers' Choice Awards, and ASCP Makeup
Challenges. Every day, we make a promise to innovate by
creating the best videos, webinars, and tools in an effort to
help you be the best esthetician you can be.
For skin care educators, we will host our first ASCP School
Summit on May 19–20, 2019. Held in Denver, Colorado, the
forum will feature expert speakers offering advice to help
esthetic and cosmetology school owners and educators create
engaged, prepared, and successful graduates. Watch your
