The recently released 2017 Medical Spa State of the Industry Report from the American Med Spa Association shows that this trend shows no signs of slowing down. According to the report, the average medical spa brings in $1 million in revenue annually, and repeat patients make up 70 percent of medical spa visits. More than half of medi-spa patients are between the ages of 35–54, and 77 percent of all medi-spas are affiliated with a physician. Learn more at www.americanmedspa.org. Happy Clients Keeping clients happy and returning comes down to communication, says Pratik Dholakiya, a contributor to Entrepreneur magazine. "You have to know how to talk to them and give them the positive impression that places you above the competition." Dholakiya suggests you examine your communications strategy and apply these three crucial tips: 1. Give lightning-fast responses: As an entrepreneur, you'll be busy and unavailable at certain times, but this doesn't excuse ignoring requests. Simply answering questions, or letting someone know you will respond as soon as you can, can make all the diff erence. 2. Never underestimate the value of small talk: At the end of the day, clients choose to do business with people, not companies. So, building rapport with them is essential for creating long-term business relationships and better brand trust. The key here is making your business personable, to build a connection. 3. Talk to customers as you would to your boss: Clients are the ones with the checkbook. So, in essence, they are your boss.
