Years ago, stem cells and
growth factors became hero
ingredients in skin care
formulations. On center stage,
plant stem cells claimed to help
stimulate human stem cells to
reproduce and repair, directly
changing the behavior of our very
own DNA. The problem with this
claim is that asking plant stem
cells to act like human stem cells
is like asking apple seeds to grow
into oranges.
