58 march/april 2017 I love brows! If I could only do one service for the rest of my life, it would be brows—that's how much I love them. I love sculpting brows because it is challenging, and I've always enjoyed a challenge. There is no greater satisfaction than giving a client a great set of brows, especially when they never thought they could have them. Brow design is both a science and an art. I am neither a scientist nor an artist, so imagine my surprise when I found out that a working knowledge of both would be needed to create incredible brows. Brows are all about creating fl attering and balanced angles, much like geometry. That's the science part. Once those angles are in place, there is a certain freedom that allows you to create amazing shapes within those constraints. That's the art part. If you're like me and not mathematically or artistically inclined, fear not: the truth is that anyone can do brows. Brow design is a skill that can be learned. With the right training, a lot of practice, and a fair amount of patience, anyone can become a brow artist.
