How do you promote your services online? ascp and you: your turn From Skincareprofessionals.com: I use the Boost Post feature on Facebook. Mitzi Lucius Facebook and local neighborhood newsletters/ads. Christine Osborn From LinkedIn: I have profiles everywhere—Yelp, LinkedIn, Angie's List, Facebook, Pinterest, Genbook, local listings—as well as my website. I have to admit it is hard to keep up with them, and I am lacking in posting on them. However, because I have a profile on those sites, I do come up in searches. Brenda Griffin I use every single online marketing strategy to increase my search engine optimization. I have a website, as well as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google+ accounts. I also use a blog and mailing list to send email blasts (enewsletters) and have an online newspaper that gets posted automatically every day on Facebook and Twitter. On Facebook, I have my professional/personal page, my company page, and a company group for clients. When you Google "skincare Tampa," I am in the first three listings—paying zero dollars for that! Monica Grajales Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Blogger, Tumbler, Google+, Styleseat, and LinkedIn. I try to attend networking events when I can. I also send out direct mailers with special offers for prebooked appointments. Lisa Etie Websites, Facebook, Google AdWords, LinkedIn. I write blog posts that I post on my websites, then link to those from my professional page on Facebook, then share to my own Facebook timeline. Esthetics NW Social media is a lot of work, so it's important to use the channels you really need. We use Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, and LinkedIn. We also use paid Google ads. Recently purchased some impressions on www.buysellads.com, which also worked well. Valerie Bleus Facebook, Yelp, and a daily deal email program offered by my local newspaper. Adrianne Couvé I use Facebook (both personal and business), Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn, and send out email blasts as well as postcards for holidays and referral discounts. Coming up with new ideas to post can be mindboggling! I have been to a few business-networking groups to get ideas, and that has really helped. Word of mouth is truly the best advertisement. Annette Foster From Facebook: Yelp has been huge for my practice, and it's free. I also use my Facebook business page. Started newsletters via email this year. Excited to explore other online marketing ideas! Brooke Mouzakis Kennedy Since we are a new business, Facebook has been a great outlet to promote our services and introduce us. It gives our "likers" a chance at some discounted package deals, while providing skin care/nutritional tips through our posts. Alyssa Dolan I use the ASCP Photo Library to promote specials and treatments, and post on my blog, Facebook, and Instagram. Lisa Marie Waters Answer our next question: What's the most important thing you provide for your clients? Email your answer to editor@ascpskincare.com. Answers will appear in the July/August issue and may be edited for length and clarity. 48 ASCP Skin Deep May/June 2015 ASCP members can access a variety of photos to use on promotional and marketing materials at www.ascpskincare.com.
