We estheticians are bombarded with product, equipment, and skin science information every day. To add to the confusion that can arise from this onslaught of information, our clients are continually doing their own research on skin science from various sources on the Internet, some of which is not always factual. Knowing how to think critically about the information you are presented with can save you time, money, and unnecessary stress. What is Critical Thinking? Critical thinking and scientifi c thinking go hand in hand. Critical thinking involves determining the validity of claims. Scientifi c thinking takes that process a step further by introducing a process for verifying specifi c claims or hypotheses.
