BUSINESS BASICS…THINGS TO THINK ABOUT! Sometimes it's the simple things we forget to do that can make a huge impact on the success of our business. I wish there was a book to read to remind about getting back to basics. Perhaps my next book! Here are just a few ideas off the top of my head: •When you're getting dressed in the morning, does it cross your mind about the impression you'll make with the outfit you've chosen? Will you come across as professional in the outfit you've chosen? •Your first client is at 10am, what time do you arrive? •Do you stop and take a moment to take a deep breath before getting started with the day? Do you push your personal life aside (it will be there when you finish the day!) and concentrate on your clients? •Do you smile when you answer the phone…. people will hear you smile on the other end! •Look around your treatment room. How could you organize it to look more peaceful for your clients? •What's the connection like between you and your clients? Are you truly present when in the room with them or is your mind elsewhere? How would your business change if you deepened that connection? •Are you impeccable with your word? Do you follow through with what you say you are going to do? •"Doubt is something that I do not entertain while attempting a project, because I believe nothing is impossible." Author unknown. I love this quote. I believe doubt is a word we should just take out of our daily vocabulary.
