It's a simple formula. Happiness attracts happiness. Yet people use so many excuses as to why they can't be happy. They use excuses of debt, excuses of health, excuses of relationships, and excuses of all sorts of things as to why they can't use this simple formula. No matter what the excuse, unless you begin to feel happy despite it, you cannot attract happiness. The universe is saying to you, "Be happy now, and as long as you keep doing that, I will give you unlimited happiness." It's the beginning of a new year and perhaps it's time for all of us to take a deeper look at ourselves. Are we holding off being happy for something that may or may not ever happen? Oh, the time we can waste waiting to be happy, right? How is not being happy right now because we don't have that thing that we think will make us happy, affecting our everyday life? Oh, that's a good question!! Do you think it could be affecting your business? That's an even better question! People can feel energy. They may not say anything to you but they can feel it and if it's not good energy, they won't want to be around it. How about that fi rst time client that doesn't return. Think back on how you were feeling that day. Were you in a good space or a not so good space? Maybe she was feeling your not so good energy. Something to think about! One of the common emotions that I hear when working with my fellow estheticians is "doubt". They doubt that the clients will show up. They doubt that those clients will return, they doubt that a piece of equipment they want to purchase will bring in money. So much doubt whirling around, no wonder business isn't going well for some estys. This is a great statement and something to always keep in mind "Doubt is something that I do not entertain while attempting a project, because I believe nothing is impossible" I got to thinking about how I feel when I am about to introduce a new piece of equipment to my clients. Doubt about my success never even enters my mind. I get so excited about what I'm introducing (almost a childlike excitement!), that failure is literally not in my vocabulary.
