56 ASCP Skin Deep September/October 2021 Step 1. Cleanse: Apply Mandelic Exfoliating Cleanser to the entire face, neck, and décolleté. Massage this AHA (mandelic acid) cleanser in gentle circular motions. It will remove impurities while reducing hyperpigmentation. Step 2. Degrease: To remove any residual makeup, oil, or debris after cleansing, apply a Pre-Exfoliating Pad in a circular motion. Saturated with glycolic (2.5%) and lactic (2.5%) acids, it prepares skin for a more even penetration of any chemical or manual exfoliation. Step 3. Exfoliate: In a glass dish, place approximately 1–2 teaspoon(s) of Wild Agave Enzyme Peel. Apply with gloved hand and massage for 3–5 minutes. For oily skin, massage under steam. This natural plant extract of agave combined with lactic acid supports realignment of the bilayers while antioxidant additives provide intense protection from oxidative stress. Step 4. Spot Treat: Apply the Ultra-Lightening Serum to the affected areas only. With the added benefit of tyrosinase inhibitors and alpha hydroxy acids, this is a powerful combination of ingredients to lighten pigmented lesions and encourage dead-cell desquamation. Step 5. Mask: Open foil pack, unfold mask, and apply to the face. Leave on for 15–20 minutes to enhance cellular renewal, assist in skin brightening, and promote healthy tissue growth. Remove mask and massage the remaining product into the skin. If there is any remaining product, blot with a tissue. Step 6. Serum: Follow up by applying the Brightening C+ Serum with three forms of stable vitamin C to nurture and support collagen synthesis. Containing additional ingredients such as hyaluronic (a moisture-binding ingredient) and two antioxidants (vitamins A and E), skin becomes brighter and is protected from free radicals and environmental aggressors like UV and pollution. Step 7. Non-Aggressive Peel: Apply a thin layer of Global (Mandelic) Brightening Peel (a leave-on peel) with an applicator or gloved hand over the entire face, neck, and décolleté. Do not massage or remove. When the client removes this product the next morning, their skin will reveal its natural radiance. Mandelic is an alpha hydroxy acid that is considered a non-aggressive exfoliator and helps reduce hyperpigmentation. Step 8. Apply Sun Protection: Let's not forget that all skin needs protection from the sun—especially for clients combatting hyperpigmentation. The Sun Protector Spray is a broad-spectrum sunscreen with micronized titanium dioxide. It quickly absorbs, leaving no grayish "ashy" appearance on darker skins. Hyperpigmentation Treatment in a Box GLOBAL SKIN SOLUTIONS GLOBAL SKIN SOLUTIONS' HYPERPIGMENTATION TREATMENT IN A BOX provides both professional products and three retail starter kits for clients. This unique professional skin rejuvenation treatment activates cell regeneration and improves the challenges of pigmentation, such as postinflammatory hyperpigmentation caused by trauma to the skin, post-acne spots, hormonal patches resulting in melasma, sun damage, and uneven skin tones.
