It had two hand pieces, and I achieved some wonderful results. But I have to tell you, sitting there holding those hand pieces for three minutes in one spot, then placing them in the next spot for another three minutes, and then moving to the next spot for another three minutes bored me to tears! In 2005, I moved on to a full-face panel and the increased results simply amazed me! Since then I've included LED in every treatment I offer. Every client gets LED at the end of their treatment. I just factor it into the time and cost. I also have clients who come in weekly just to lay under the panel. This keeps their skin looking bright and healthy between their regular facial appointments. LED can be used on all skin types and issues (antiaging, acne, rosacea, pigmentation, etc.). But I was still not satisfied with the results of spending 20–30 minutes under the panel. That's just too much time taken during a one-hour facial. So, I approached a company to develop a panel for me that would achieve great results in much less time. It took two years to develop it, but it was worth the wait. I also wanted the panel to be affordable. My first panel in 2005 was on sale at a trade show for $10,000! Boy, if I only knew then what I know now, I would have never made that investment. The Illuminate LED panel has 1,800 LEDs, is a five-minute treatment time, and it won't break your piggy bank! We also have powerful handheld LEDs disks. They are four inches in diameter with a 90-second spot treatment. Four spots cover the whole face. Plus, we're working on a full-body LED wellness system!
