As I write this, it's the
end of May—nearly three
months since COVID-19
shut the country down and
changed life as we've always
known it.
I think I've felt a range of
emotions, from fear, sadness,
and anger to immense
gratitude that my loved
ones have remained safe
and healthy. I know you've
struggled too, with the added
burden of having to stop seeing
clients, fighting to keep your
business going through virtual
consultations and retail sales,
and coping with the financial
implications. I think about you every day.
As of this writing, every state in the country has allowed at least some businesses to reopen,
many with rules and restrictions in place. And now, if you're a solo practitioner, you have to
decide for yourself if, when, and how you should invite clients back to your treatment room.
What will be your new sanitation protocols? What PPE do you need to protect yourself and your
clients (and how will you get it)? Are you able to get backbar and retail products?
