What does a blackhead, a miserable
corporate job, and an economic crisis
have in common? Besides being a great
first line for a joke, they made me a better
esthetician. In 2006, I was grinding out a
living in corporate America. I was using
that expensive business degree I worked
so hard for, matching my employer's
401k contribution, not completely
taking advantage of my health insurance
benefits, and slowly torturing my spirit.
I was miserable and I knew, though
fortified with financial security, cubicle
life was not for me.
