I learned gua sha last year and have seen how much infl ammation aff ects everything from acne to aging. I want to build on that because I love the immense results I get! Melissa Berry I would like to learn more about hydrodermabrasion and what aff ordable machines are out there. I would also like to learn more about galvanic and microcurrent. I realize those aren't new modalities, but I would like to learn more about them. Raylene Davis I am planning on taking my oncology esthetics course in February. As a former nurse, I want to fi nd another way to give back. Jennifer Dover I would love to learn and get certifi ed in fi broblast/ plasma skin tightening. It delivers fantastic, semipermanent results and seems like one of the most eff ective treatments to combat the aging process. David Torres I'm currently training in microblading and tattooing for brows. I plan to be certifi ed and off ering this in the new year. My clients have been begging me to off er this for 15-plus years! I also plan to enter the exciting fi eld of cryo techniques for fat and cellulite reduction. Jennifer Charm Answer our next question: How do you make your clients feel comfortable and cared for before and/or after services? Email your answer to editor@ascpskincare.com. Your answer could appear in the March/April 2019 issue and may be edited for length and clarity. ยป Aromatherapy (essential oils), lymphatic drainage massage, and oncology esthetics. I would love to provide quality and more homeopathic techniques that give my clients an amazing service with real results. It also appears that oncology esthetics is growing in demand, and I want to ensure that I provide safe and eff ective services to those going through, or who have gone through, cancer treatments. Beth Monk Fosth There are so many modalities out there, and I would love more education on the best, easiest, and most helpful ways to combine diff erent ones according to clients' skin issues. I would also love to be able to save the money to take oncology training. There are lots of other things I want to learn, but I'm waiting for Texas to catch up and put things like dermaplaning under our scope without having to have a medical director. Elain M. Prout
